Teacher of PE (Maternity cover)

We are currently looking to appoint a PE Teacher (Maternity Cover) to join our outstanding PE Faculty. This is a fixed term appointment from 1st September 2024 to 21st April 2025 in the first instance. There may be possibility for a permanent position for the right candidate.

With passion and enthusiasm for sport and inspiring and motivating students, the successful candidate will have strong relevant qualifications alongside the sporting ability to be able to teach PE, and enthusiasm and willingness to embrace additional extra-curricular activities, including both programmes in school and the local community competitive fixtures. This role is integral to the School's aim of ensuring that 'every lesson, every day is good or better'.

Our PE department benefits from high specification facilities, including Multi-Use Gaming Areas, Sports Hall, Olympic Standard Gymnastics & Trampolining Centre, 3G Astro-turf and a full spec fitness suite.
