Exam Results and Performance Tables

tHE ACHIEVEMENT OF OUR STUDENTS HAS STEADILY INCREASED IN RECENT YEARS, AT BOTH KEY STAGE 4 AND 5.

YEAR 11 EXAM RESULTS 2022

 

Our Attainment 8 (the average of 8 key qualifications) has been in line with the national value for two consecutive years. A8 2019 = 45 or an average of grade 4.5 per pupil.  A8 in 2022 was 47, or an average of grade 4.7 per pupil.

In 2019 we achieved our best ever proportion of students to date achieving the Standard Basics Pass in English and Maths (55% L4+). This increased again in 2022 with 61% achieving 4+ in both English and Maths, ensuring that students are well prepared for their next chosen step. In 2022, 37% of students achieved a strong pass (5+) in both English and Maths. English outcomes in 2022 were 72% at grade 4+, 53% at grade 5+ and 15% at grade 7+. Maths outcomes in 2022 were 65% at grade 4+, 43% at grade 5+ and 16% at grade 7+. In 2022, 38% of students were entered for the full EBACC suite of qualifications (English, Maths, Science, a Humanity and a Language). Progress 8 in 2022 was in line with national average (-0.07).
